Depart Istanbul early this morning for the Gallipoli Peninsula, one of Turkey’s most moving historic sites. Explore the WWI Gallipoli battlefields, visiting key ANZAC locations and memorials including Lone Pine, Chunuk Bair, ANZAC Cove, Johnston’s Jolly, The Nek, and the original trenches and tunnels—a powerful and unforgettable day of remembrance and history.

Day 2TuesdayTroy, Behramkale, Kusadasi Breakfast, Dinner Down

Depart Çanakkale and travel to legendary Troy, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you’ll explore the ancient ruins and visit the award-winning Troy Museum for deeper insight into the myths and history of the region. Next, continue to Behramkale (Assos), a charming stone village with narrow lanes and traditional homes that capture the feel of authentic Turkish village life. Enjoy free time to wander, take in the scenery, and relax with Turkish tea or coffee at a local café. Later, head south along the Aegean coast to Kusadasi.

Step back in time today on a guided tour of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the world, and visit the location of the Temple of Artemis—once one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Stroll through the remarkable ruins and take in the atmosphere of the ancient theater before continuing to the Ephesus Archaeology Museum, home to an outstanding collection of regional artifacts. Day 5FridaySilk Road, Konya Breakfast, Dinner Down

Today we follow the historic Silk Road, stopping at Sultanhani Caravanserai, a beautifully preserved medieval inn once used by merchants and traders. Continue on to Konya to visit the Mevlana Museum, dedicated to the great Sufi poet Rumi and the traditions of the Whirling Dervishes. Tonight, you can also join an optional Turkish folklore show for a fun and memorable cultural evening.

Depart early this morning for Ankara, Turkey’s capital, to visit Anıtkabir, the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. After the visit, return to Istanbul, with arrival at approximately 7:00 PM, where the tour concludes.
