Welcome to Istanbul! Please make your own way to your hotel on arrival. This evening, your tour guide will host a welcome meeting to introduce the itinerary and the rest of the group.

After breakfast, enjoy a fully guided tour of Istanbul, the only city in the world that spans two continents. Visit the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Dolmabahçe Palace, and the historic Hippodrome.

In the afternoon, you may choose to join an optional half-day Bosphorus cruise, sailing between Europe and Asia along the stunning waterway that divides the continents.

Day 3Gallipoli Battlefields Breakfast, Dinner Down

Today you’ll visit one of Turkey’s most moving historic sites: the WWI Gallipoli battlefields. Explore key ANZAC locations and memorials including Lone Pine, Chunuk Bair, ANZAC Cove, The Nek, and Johnston’s Jolly, and see original trenches and tunnels that bring the Gallipoli Campaign into powerful focus.

Day 4Troy, Behramkale Breakfast Down

Depart Çanakkale for legendary Troy, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you’ll explore the ancient ruins and visit the award-winning Troy Museum for deeper insight into the region’s myths and history.

Next, continue to Behramkale (Assos), a charming stone village with narrow lanes and traditional homes that capture authentic Turkish village life. Enjoy free time to wander, take in the views, and relax with Turkish tea or coffee at a local café.

Later, travel south along the Aegean coast to Kusadasi.

Day 5Ephesus Breakfast Down

Step back in time on a guided tour of Ephesus, once a thriving trade hub and religious center of the ancient world. Explore its most famous landmarks, including the site of the Temple of Artemis, the iconic Library of Celsus, and the impressive Great Theater. Continue to the Ephesus Archaeology Museum, where outstanding artifacts help bring the city’s story to life. Then visit a traditional carpet weaving village to see how Turkish rugs are handmade and learn what determines their quality and value. Later, head to charming Şirince to finish the day with a relaxed wine tasting.

Day 6Fethiye, Gulet Breakfast, Dinner Down

Start the day with a brief showcase of locally handcrafted leather goods, then continue to Fethiye to begin your gulet cruise. Board your gulet at Fethiye Harbour around 3:00 PM, then set out for your first swim and snorkel stop in Turunç Bay or Tarzan Bay. Cruise past a scattering of islands en route to Tersane Island (Dockyard Island), where you can explore atmospheric ruins of a former Greek settlement and the remains of an old naval shipyard.

Day 7Gulet, Gocek Bay Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Down

After breakfast, cruise to Hamam Bay for a swim beside the evocative ruins of ancient Roman baths, traditionally linked to Mark Antony and Cleopatra. Continue on to beautiful Sarsala Bay, a pine-fringed inlet where you can take an optional 45-minute hike to the remains of an ancient Lycian settlement, known for its inscribed walls dating to the 3rd century BC. Later, anchor at Bedri Rahmi Bay, named after the celebrated Turkish painter. Enjoy the crystal-clear water for swimming, or explore the small island and shoreline.

Today we cruise back toward Fethiye, sailing past the Yassıca Islands and the Göcek Islands. Many of these small, uninhabited islets offer sheltered anchorages, quiet coves, and sandy beaches—perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or simply relaxing in the sun. Enjoy a final stop for a swim at Red Island before returning to Fethiye.

Day 9Pamukkale, Hierapolis Breakfast, Dinner Down

This morning, discover Pamukkale’s dazzling white travertine terraces and tour the ancient spa city of Hierapolis. If you’d like, enjoy a relaxing soak in the warm thermal springs—including the historic pool where you can swim among ancient columns, just as visitors did in Roman times.

Day 10Silk Road, Konya Breakfast Down

Travel the historic Silk Road today, stopping at Sultanhani Caravanserai, a beautifully preserved medieval inn once used by merchants and traders. Continue to Konya to visit the Mevlana Museum, dedicated to the great Sufi poet Rumi and the traditions of the Whirling Dervishes. This evening, you can also join an optional Turkish folklore show for a fun cultural night out.

Day 11Cappadocia, Goreme, Underground City Breakfast Down

Explore the otherworldly, “lunar” landscapes of Cappadocia today. Visit the Göreme Open-Air Museum, see the region’s iconic fairy chimneys, and descend into a fascinating underground city carved deep into the rock.

Day 12Ankara Breakfast Down

Depart early this morning for Ankara, Turkey’s capital, to visit Anıtkabir, the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. After the visit, return to Istanbul.

After breakfast, your tour comes to an end. Say goodbye to your fellow travelers and depart with lasting memories.

  5. On-Request Booking: This tour is On Request, meaning we must confirm availability before we can finalize your booking.
  6. Optional Flight Upgrade: Prefer to skip the long drive between Cappadocia and Istanbul? An optional morning flight from Kayseri (Cappadocia) to Istanbul is available at an additional cost. Please contact us for a quote.
  7. Guide Coverage: Your tour guide does not accompany the group during the gulet portion of the itinerary.
