Itinerary

Day 1:

Friday – Arrival in Istanbul Welcome to Istanbul! Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel, and
the rest of the day is yours to explore the vibrant city at your leisure. Overnight stay in Istanbul. Hotel:
Port Bosphorus Hotel (4-star)

Day 2:

Saturday – Istanbul Old City Tour Today, embark on a guided tour of Istanbul’s historic Old City. Visit
the stunning Topkapi Palace, including the Hagia Irene and the Harem, explore the impressive Blue
Mosque, and discover the wonders of the St. Sophia Museum and the Hippodrome. Overnight in
Istanbul. Hotel: Port Bosphorus Hotel (4-star)

Day 3:

Sunday – Bosphorus Cruise and Cappadocia After breakfast, enjoy a scenic 1-hour Bosphorus cruise,
sailing between Europe and Asia as your guide points out key landmarks along the way. In the
afternoon, we fly to Cappadocia. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel, with the rest of the
day free to explore. Hotel: Cappadocia Estates Hotel (4-star)

Day 4:

Monday – Cappadocia: Goreme and Underground City Marvel at the unique lunar landscape of
Cappadocia. Visit the Goreme Valley Open-Air Museum and the fairy chimneys, and explore the
fascinating underground city. Don’t forget your camera for these unforgettable photo opportunities! In
the evening, consider attending the optional Turkish folklore evening featuring belly dancers and

Day 5:

Tuesday – Sultanhani Caravansary and Konya Visit the mausoleum of Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi, the
renowned 13th-century Sufi mystic and poet, in Konya. Explore the Mevlana Museum, home to Rumi’s
tomb and ancient manuscripts, and learn about the Whirling Dervishes. We’ll also visit the Çatalhöyük
Museum to discover the ancient history of one of the world’s oldest Neolithic settlements. Hotel: Spark

Day 6:

Wednesday – Pamukkale and Hierapolis Today, head to Pamukkale to witness its famous calcium
travertines. Explore the ancient ruins of Hierapolis, including the Temple of Apollo, the Necropolis, and
the stunning white terraces of Pamukkale. Hotel: Adem Pira Hotel (4-star)

Day 7:

Thursday – Laodicea and Kusadasi Visit the ancient city of Laodicea, once the chief city of the Lycus
River Valley, known for its impressive ruins and historical significance. In the afternoon, enjoy a
display of locally handcrafted leather goods. Hotel: Ilayda Avantgarde Hotel, Kusadasi (Boutique

Day 8:

Friday – Ephesus Tour Dive into the ancient history of Ephesus today, once a bustling trade and
religious center. Visit the site of the Temple of Artemis, the grand facade of the Library of Celsus, and
the impressive amphitheater. We’ll also visit the Ephesus Archaeology Museum, where you can learn
more about the city’s fascinating past. Later, explore the art of Turkish carpet weaving and enjoy a

Day 9:

Saturday – Pergamon and Troy Step back in time as we visit the ancient acropolis of Pergamon,
famous for its temples and library. Continue to Troy, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and explore its
ruins and the award-winning Troy Museum. Hotel: Hilton Double Tree Canakkale (5-star)

Day 10:

Sunday – Gallipoli Battlefields After breakfast, visit the World War I battlefields of Gallipoli, including
the Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair memorials, ANZAC Cove, The Nek, Johnston’s Jolly, and the original
trenches and tunnels. In the afternoon, return to Istanbul. Hotel: Port Bosphorus Hotel, Istanbul (4-star)

Day 11:

Monday – Departure from Istanbul After breakfast, we’ll bid farewell to our fellow travelers before
transferring you to the airport for your onward flight.
